    Apparently the most common reason for the system to get gummed up and stop working is the use of "homemade carbonation", i.e., using your own mixture of citric acid and baking soda because it turns out that the original Sparkel carbonation mixture is a finer powder. I'm in the process of fixing my machine. I was stumped on taking the side panels off UNTIL I figured out that there were screws (6 total) hidden behind the white, square plugs and the small, white, round plugs on the back white panel. That's the trick that's probably stumping a lot of people looking at this video for answers. After I clean that valve or whatever it is, I plan on still using my citric acid and baking soda mix but I'm going to run it in my coffee bean grinder to try and make it finer.

      @qwaqwa1960 День назад

      I never used my own mix till AFTER I had this problem... And there's no discernible difference between my bulk citric and their sachets. If anything, my mix seems MORE active than theirs, and seems to work better using a shorter bubble time!

    That's normal thing to happen with SSDs, especially cheaper ones. Something called SLC cache gets filled in, which results in slower writs speeds after it gets full. You also need to consider DRAM cache, which helps with write speeds in long run. Lastly, SSDs controller can get hot if not cooled properly therefore controller will limit speeds in order to keep itself cool enough, preventing it from overheating.

    Three things bro: 1. It is almost certainly equipped with QLC memory (you go read about it) 2. It likely lacks a DRAM cache, which means you can expect reduced speeds. 3. The absence of a heat sink could lead to significant performance throttling due to overheating.

    Check the bolt in the back of the stove that attatches your flu collar. I don't think it's your damper, I think you are getting tramp air through your collar, door seal or glass seal. Watch your flame closely, it will tell you where the air is coming in at. The area will be cleaner than the rest of the stove.

    I enjoyed your videos although I'm surprised you recommended the kit to others. You did do a beautiful job assembling yours and the keyboard looks fine, at least from the video. Back in the '70's, everybody kind of rolled their eyes at the mention of Zuckerman. When I was in high school and college, I built a couple of clavichords. The first was much like the design of your Zuckerman except it was unfretted. Unfortunately, Frank Hubbard didn't write a book about clavichords, so I had to draw my own plans based on what I could make out from pictures, etc. from Raymond Russell's "The Harpsichord and Clavichord". The base of the first one was a piece of 7/8" thick Mahagony, but a few weeks after I got it tuned up, it warped the way you said yours did. I tried various bracings but ended up giving it to a friend to take to college and never saw it again (thankfully). The next one used a "double bottom" the way many larger German clavichord makers did. It is much more stable (try twisting a cereal box). If I'd had the first one back, I'd have put a second bottom on it too.

    • @qwaqwa1960
      @qwaqwa1960 2 года назад

      Thanks for your interesting comments! My recommendation came with many caveats :-} BTW, the bottom was twisted before assembly. Ha...maybe they did it on purpose, to counteract twisting from string tension (yeah, right).
